In our faculty there are the University Veterinary Clinics (Internal Diseases, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Parasitological Diseases, Infectious Diseases, Radiology), for the students’ practical activity during the semesters. These clinics are equipped with adequate investigation, diagnostic, and intervention facilities, as well as a small veterinary hospital.

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Timisoara owns ultimate performance laboratory analysis technology acquired in 2001 – 2002, within a program financed by The World Bank: Spectrophotometer with atomic absorption, UV VIS Spectrophotometer, Microwave digestion, Kjeldahl, Automatic computerized ELISA line (photometry), Computerized Hematological analyzer.

The faculty has, also, proper research bases in the epidemiological field, equipped by an European program (EPIRO - VET), and adequate conditions in order to study and research in hygiene, environmental protection, animal welfare, microbiology, immunology, hygiene of animal origin food, and veterinary public health.

The courses are lectured by highly qualified academic staff, using modern teaching and training methods. A great part of the staff has attended postgraduate training courses in well known European faculties (Royal Veterinary College London, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Alfort, Toulouse, Lyon, Utrecht, Vienna, Munich, Budapest, Ljubljana, Naples).
